Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Eye: Flush eyes with running water immediately while holding the eyelids open. Remove contact lenses, if worn, after initial flushing, and continue flushing for at least 15 minutes. Get immediate medical attention. Skin: To remove the material from skin, use soap and water. Discard contaminated clothing and shoes or thoroughly clean before reuse. Get medical attention if any symptoms develop. Ingestion: If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Give the person a glass of water or milk to drink and get immediate medical attention. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Inhalation: Move the exposed person to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get medical attention if breathing difficulties continue.
Fire-fighting measures
XTINGUISHING MEDIA: Use water fog, foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide (CO2) to extinguish flames.
PROTECTION OF FIRE FIGHTERS:
Fire Fighting Instructions: Evacuate area of all unnecessary personnel. Wear appropriate safety equipment for fire conditions including NIOSH self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and other protective equipment as described in Section 8 if exposure conditions warrant.
Combustion Products: Combustion may form: Sulfur Oxides, Carbon Oxides
Accidental release measures
Protective Measures: Wear appropriate personal protective equipment when cleaning up spills.
Spill Management: Avoid creating dust clouds. Shovel, sweep up or use industrial vacuum cleaner to pick up. Place in container for proper disposal. Reduce airborne dust and prevent scattering by moistening with water.
Handling and storage
READ AND OBSERVE ALL PRECAUTIONS ON PRODUCT LABEL. REFER TO PRODUCT LABEL OR MANUFACTURERS TECHNICAL BULLETINS FOR THE PROPER USE AND HANDLING OF THIS MATERIAL .
Precautionary Measures: Use caution to avoid creation of dusts and to prevent inhalation of product dust (fines). Avoid contact with product dust. Donot breathe dust at levels above the recommended exposure limits. Avoid breathing material. Keep container closed. Use only with adequate ventilation. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Discard contaminated clothing and shoes or thoroughly clean before reuse. Avoid contaminating soil or releasing this material into sewage and drainage systems and bodies of water.
General Storage Information: Store away from oxidizing materials, in a cool, dry place with adequate ventilation.
USE AND STORE ONLY IN WELL VENTILATED AREA. Keep container closed when not in use.
