- JUSTIFICATION FOR DATA WAIVING
In accordance with REACH Annex XI, section 1, hydrolysis testing (required in section 9.2.2.1) may be omitted if testing does not appear scientifically necessary. In water, the substance dissociates in an anion and cation, which have no chemical groups that are liable to hydrolysis. Hydrolysis is therefore not a relevant parameter for this substance and testing does not appear scientifically necessary.
