Conclusion on classification

The substance is not classified for the environment in the EU according to Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 because although effects were seen in a long-term Daphnia study, this study is disregarded for technical reasons for the purposes of hazard assessment and does not provide evidence of intrinsic toxicity for the substance below its limit of solubility; furthermore the physico-chemical parameters of the substance (log Kow of 9 and water solubility of 1.3E-06 mg/l) indicate that effects are unlikely to be expressed at the limit of solubility.
