- Conclusions:
- No immobilization was observed in the limit semi-static test. Therefore exact values of EC50 could not be calculated and the values of EC were given in the form of a range. The NOEC and EC100 values were identified by direct observation. Time weighted mean of determined concentrations were used for all evaluations and results.
- Executive summary:
Young daphnids are exposed to the Propylal at a range of concentrations (100, 50, 10, 5 and 1 mg/l) for a period of 48 hours and compared with control values. The results are analyzed in order to calculate the EC50 at 48h. 20 animals, divided in groups of 10 each are used at each concentration and for the controls.
No immobilization was observed in the limit semi-static test. Therefore, the exact values of EC50 could not be calculated and the values of EC were given in the form of a range. The NOEC and EC100 values were identified by direct observation. Time weighted mean of determined concentrations were used for all evaluations and results.
