Administrative data

First-aid measures

Inhalation: If inhaled, remove to fresh air. Artificial respiration should be given for respiratory failure. Oxygen should be given for respiratory distress.

Eyes: In case of contact wash with water for at least 15 minutes and ensure sufficient irrigation by spreading the eyelids. Get medical attention immediately.

Skin: In case of contact wash with water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contaminated clothing and change footwear and get medical attention immediately.

Ingestion: In case of ingestion, rinse the mouth with water provided the person is conscious and get medical attention immediately.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, carbon dioxide, dry powder or appropriate foam

Special risks: In case of fire, poisonous vapours are released

Special protection: Breathing apparatus and protective clothing for skin are recommended. Eye contact should be avoided.

Accidental release measures

Personal protective accidental release: Evacuate the area

Personal protection: Breathing apparatus, rubber boots and heavy rubber gloves should be worn and disposed of after use.

Procedure for cleaning: Dispose of in a plastic bag. Avoid dust. Clean the affected zone thoroughly after complete removal of the material and thoroughly ventilate the area.

Handling and storage

Handling: Do not breathe dust. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, clothing and water. Prolonged or repeated exposure should be avoided.

Storage: Keep container tightly closed and store at room temperature.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Wear protective gloves and clothes, safety glasses.

If a respirator is required, a full face masks with particulate type P3 (EN 143) should be worn.

Disposal considerations

This material may only be used by an authorised person. Removal should be by a waste disposal company. These products are dissolved in a flammable solvent or merged with it and burned in an incinerator for chemicals (with after-burner and exhaust air scrubber).
