Due to the ready biodegradability and the log Koc ( log Koc = 2.8) of Beta-Ionon a considerable exposure of sediment organisms is unlikely. Thus, the risk to sediment organisms is expected to be small. Therefore toxicity studies on sediment organisms are not provided.The PNEC has been calculated by the equilibrium partitioning method.
