- the study does not need to be conducted because the substance has a low potential for bioaccumulation based on log Kow <=3 and a low potential to cross biological membranes
- Justification for type of information:
- The substance has a relative low log Pow value (ca. 1: low lipophilicity), indicating that they have no bioaccumulation potential and can be anticipated to be readily biodegradable.
Degradation products of proteins are primarily peptides and amino acids, subsequently degraded to carbon dioxide and water which cause no harm to nature (see attached justification).
