Result

Start temperature of exothermic reaction: 141.5°C

Discussion

Exothermic reaction of BEI would result in the polymerization of the sample compound. That start temperature of exothermic reaction is almost the same as the boiling temperature of MOI. The determination of the MOI boiling temperature would be carried out under reduced pressure.
