non explosive

Additional information

A key study was provided according to EC A14 method with regard to thermal and mechanical (shock and friction) sensitivity.

Furthermore, no chemical groups associated with explosive properties are present in the molecule, therefore the acceptance procedure for Class 1 explosives shall not apply.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Based on experimental testing, E96095 is not classified as explosive with regard to heat, shock or friction, according to Directive 67/548/EEC (DSD) criteria.

Based on chemical structure, E96095 is not considered as a potential explosive, according to Regulation (EC) No.1272/2008 (CLP) criteria.
