Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The long term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates was assessed withthe test item under semi-static conditions over a period of 21 days at concentration of 10 mg/L and 100 mg/L. The overall NOEC was determined to be greater or equal 100 mg/L. The LC 50 based on parental mortality was > 100 mg/L.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Fresh water invertebrates

Fresh water invertebrates
Effect concentration:
100 mg/L

Marine water invertebrates

Marine water invertebrates
Effect concentration:
100 mg/L

Additional information

The effects on survival and reproductive performance in Daphnia magna during 21 days of exposure were investigated. The test item had no test concentration related effect on the survival or the reproductive capacity of Daphnia magna at nominal concentrations up to and including 100 mg/L. A LD50-value for parental mortality and an EC50-value for reproduction were > 100 mg/L. The lowest observed effect concentrations (LOEC) and the no observed effect concentrations (NOEC) were > 100 mg/L and >= 100 mg/L, respectively.
