Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The substance is an UVCB and no information about the correlation between molecular weight and the structural formula of the test item are available, Water Accommodated Fractions (WAFs) were used to test effects at different effective loadings. The content of the water soluble fractions of the test item during the exposure period was verified by HPLC analysis and UV/VIS-detection.

6.1.1 Acute toxicity to fish: No toxic effects against fish were observed at the limit of water solubility under exposure conditions (96 h-LL50 > 400 mg/l). The results are expressed in terms of Lethal Loadings (LL).

6.1.3 Acute toxicity to daphnia: After 48 hrs an EL-50 of higher than 400 mg/l was measured. The result is expressed in terms of Effective Loadings (EL). No toxic effects against Daphnia were observed.

6.1.5 Toxicity to freshwater algae: An ErL50 of > 4910 mg/L was determined and a NOEL[r] of 31.25 mg/L was calculated. The results are expressed in terms of Effective Loadings (EL).

6.1.7 Toxicity to microorganisms: After 3 hours the test material showed 11.11 % respiration inhibition of activated sludge at the highest concentration of 1000 mg/L. An EC-50 value of higher than 1000 mg/l and EC-10 value of 856.5 mg/l was determined (by probit analysis).

All toxicity studies mentioned above are classified as acceptable and satisfy the guideline requirements
