Description of key information

A test was conducted on acute toxicity to Daphnia magna according to OECD Guideline 202. This static test resulted in a 48 h-EC50 value of 45 mg/L. Monitoring of the test substance concentration was performed during exposure (indirectly via formaldehyde) and the 80% limit, prescribed by the Guideline, was kept.

Furthermore, the acute toxicity of EUF to the marine copepod Acartia tonsa was investigated according to the ISO 14669 draft method. After 48 h exposure an EC50 of 80.9 mg/l was established. The test substance concentration was not monitored during the test.
