Description of key information

Given the higher hydrophilicity of TEPA compared to TETA we expect the measured surface tension value obtained for TEPA to be at the upper limit of the Cluster 2 PAAs described by the reaction adducts of monomeric and dimeric fatty acids with polyamines and with a residual free amine content of ~10wt%. The surface tension of TEPA was determined using the Pt ring method and ranged from 63.93 to 68.92 mN/m. The surface tension of TETA is expected to be similar or lower than these values. From the surface tension results, the CMC was estimated to be 60 mg/L (corrected for amine 54 mg/L). The surface tension
