Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The boiling point of the substance at atmospheric pressure was determined using the procedures based on those in OECD Guideline 103 and EU Method A.2.. The method applied was based on Differential Scanning Calorimetry and was corrected to standard pressure from the Toluene control determinations. The substance thermally decomposes within the boiling range. The observed values of the boiling point/boiling range are, however, dependent upon the temperature programme used. Hence, it is justified to quote an approximate boiling range of 270°C to 300°C with thermal decomposition occurring within. The boiling point is dependent upon the temperature programme used and the variation in boiling point caused by this dependency will exceed the accuracy of the determination. The decomposition temperature of the substance, determined by DSC, is 293°C.
