The test substance was slightly dissolved in water. Therefore, the test solution was prepared by dissolving 11.37 mg of the test substance in 1 liters of potable water (passed through reverse osmosis system) with continuous stirring.

The test was conducted in static conditions for the period of 96 hours. The test concentration used for the exposure are 2.24 mg/L, 3.36 mg/L, 5.05 mg/L, 7.58 mg/L & 11.37 mg/L. Plastic aquaria containing 2 liters of potable water (passed through reverse osmosis system) were loaded with 8 fishes. After 96 hours of exposure to test item to various nominal test concentrations, LC0 was determined to be 11.37 mg/l . As the chemical is readily biodegradable, it can be consider that the test chemical is non hazardous to aquatic enviornmrnt and cannot be classified as per CLP classsifiaction criteria.
