Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The 96-hour LC50 value of 10 mg/L for SpectraceTMM D-8 10 Marker (Solvent Free) is based on measured concentrations of the test material (near the detection limit) in a static exposure study with flathead minnow.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Fresh water fish

Fresh water fish
Effect concentration:
10 mg/L

Additional information

All fathead minnow in the negative and solvent control groups and in all of the treatment groups appeared

normal throughout the test. No mortality or overt signs of toxicity were observed at test termination.

Based on visual examination of the data, the 96-hour LC50 value was >10 mg/L, the highest

concentration tested and the apparent limit of solubility of the test substance in the test system. The nomortality

concentration and the no-observed-effect concentration (NOEC) were both 10 mg/L.
