Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Two in vitro genotoxicity studies, a bacterial gene mutation assay and a chromosomal aberration test in human lymphocytes were negative, both in the presence and absence of a metabolic acitvation system. The substance was not genotoxic or clastogenic in these test systems.

Short description of key information:
The test substance was negative in guideline conform bacterial mutation and chromosomal aberration assays in human lymphocytes that were performed under GLP conditions.

Endpoint Conclusion: No adverse effect observed (negative)

Justification for classification or non-classification

Based on the negative gene mutation and chromosomal aberration assays, both with and without metabolic acitvation, no classification for mutagenicity is proposed.
