Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Not readily or inherently biodegradable.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
under test conditions no biodegradation observed

Additional information

In a ready biodegradability study (OECD Guideline 301B), the mean percent theoretical CO2 produced by the test substance reached 9.2% by day 29. The mean percentage biodegradation of the test substance in an inherent biodegradation study (OECD Guideline 302C) was 9.42% by day 28. The substance is therefore considered neither readily nor inherently biodegradable.
