Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

One study, investigating the ready biodegradability of Fatty acids, C5-10 (linear and branched), mixed esters with pentaerythritol according to OECD 301F (Manometric Respirometry Test), is available. In the GLP-study (Serben, 2007) domestic activated sludge was used as inoculum. At test termination after 28 days the substance was degraded to 89% and the 10-day-window was reached. Therefore, the test substance can be classified as readily biodegradable according to OECD criteria.
