Description of key information

In accordance with section 8.9.1 of Column 2 of Annex X of the REACH Regulation, a carcinogenicity study may be proposed if the substance has a widespread dispersive use or there is evidence of frequent long-term or human exposure and the substance is classified as c Category 2 germ cell mutagen. 
As the substance is not marketed as such on the EU market, but as a monomer in a polymer only and the residual levels are below 0.1 %, and the substance bears no classification for genotoxicity it is considered justified to omit the carcinogenicity study.
