Headspace vapour concentrations of test item as found after an equilibration time of 3 h, 5 h and 7 h are exposed in Table 1. The value obtained after an equilibration time of 3 h was not used for the calculation of the vapour pressure, as it can be deduced from the results that headspace saturation was not yet reached.

Executive summary:

The vapour pressure of the test material was determined according to the OECD guideline No. 104
(headspace method, similar to the gas saturation method), and under GLP.


After equilibration, the concentration in the vapour phase was measured in triplicate.
The vapour pressure at 20°C was calculated from the last two average headspace concentration (at equilibrium) using the vapour pressure equation.


The Vapour pressure of the test item is 2.5 Pa at 20°C.
