Remarks:
The Department of Health of the Government of the United Kingdom
Type of method:
differential scanning calorimetry
Key result
Boiling pt.:
227 °C
Atm. press.:
100.7 kPa
Remarks on result:
other: 227 ± 1°C
Key result
Boiling pt.:
500 K
Atm. press.:
100.7 kPa
Remarks on result:
other: 500 ± 1K

Mean of two determinations at the same pressure of 100.7 kPa are 226°C (499 K) and 228°C (501 K) for determinations 1 and 2 respectively. In both cases, thermal event reported as "endotherm" was interpreted as boiling temperature.

Conclusions:
A boiling point of 227 ± 1°C (500 ± 1 K) at 100.7 kPa was determined for the substance using a relevant test method and in compliance with GLP. The result is considered to be reliable.

Description of key information

Boiling point: 227 ± 1°C at 100.7 kPa (OECD 103)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Boiling point at 101 325 Pa:
227 °C

Additional information

A measured boiling point of 227 ± 1°C (500 ± 1 K) at 100.7 kPa was determined for the submission substance using a differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) method in accordance with OECD Test Guideline 103 and in compliance with GLP. The result is considered to be reliable.
