determined to be 72.5 mN/m at 22.0 ± 0.5°C (individual replicate values
being 72.5 and 72.5 mN/m). The test item is considered
not to be a surface-active item.

A surface tension value of 72.5
mN/m at 22.0 ± 0.5°C for a nominal 1.0 g/L solution was determined for
the submission substance using the ring method in accordance with OECD
Test Guideline 115 and in compliance with GLP. The result is considered
to be reliable. At the nominal concentration tested, it is expected that
the measured surface tension is for the Gem Diol form of the submission
A surface tension value of 33.6
mN/m for the neat product was reported for Cyrene™ (Pers. comm). No
further information is available and no reliability could be assigned.
