No experimental data evaluating the potential for photodegradation of Reaction mass of sodium hydrogen N-(1-oxooctadecyl)-L-glutamate and stearic acid in air are available. QSAR calculations performed for its main components using AOPWIN v1.92 (EPISuiteTM) resulted in estimated half-lives (DT50 values) of 9.59 and 17.13 hours, respectively (OH concentration: 0.5E+06 OH/cm3, 24h-day). These results indicate that Reaction mass of sodium hydrogen N-(1-oxooctadecyl)-L-glutamate and stearic acid is susceptible to indirect photodegradation in air. However, photodegradation in air is not considered to be a relevant degradation process as the substance is not expected to evaporate into the atmosphere based on its low vapor pressure of < 0.00001 Pa (at 20 °C).
