Description of key information
The Log Pow of hydrogenated terphenyls was determined with a HPLC method. The Pow and log Pow values of the main peak of the test substance were above 3.2 x 10e+06 and >6.5. Additionally 19 other test substance peaks were detected with Log Pow values ranging from 5.3 to > 6.5. Due to the fact that the main constituent had a log Pow above 6.5 this value was used further on in the chemical safety assessment.
