Description of key information

In a flow through system using carp (Cyprinus carpio) ), exposure via the water-phase to 0.15 mg/L naphthalene for 8 weeks resulted in individual bioconcentration factors between 36.5 and 168 (CITI 1992). Similar results were obtained in coho salmon (Oncorhynchus kisutch) and starry flounder (Platichthys stellatus): The BCF in muscle ranged from 30 - 95 (Roubal et al. 1978).
