Oxidized asphalt is a highly viscous hydrocarbon solid with a viscosity of more than 7 mm2/s at 40°C. Measured viscosity values and supporting specification information provide the following: 100 - 1000 mm2/s at 200°C and 122 – 333 mPa.s at 180°C (CONCAWE 1992a, CONCAWE 2010a).
