Results and discussion

Details on results:
No hepatotoxic effects were found 16 hrs after single oral application of 33.5 or 335 mg/kg isobutanol to Pirbright-White guinea pigs. No difference in the enzyme activities of serum SGOT, SGPT, and GLDH and in the triglyceride concentration were detected compared to a olive oil control group.
