Description of key information

A Flow-through Life-cycle toxicity test with Cladoceran (Daphnia magna)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Fresh water invertebrates

Fresh water invertebrates
Effect concentration:
1.8 mg/L

Additional information

Following a preliminary range finding test, Daphnia magna were exposed for 21 days to a series of 5 test concentrations, of Fyrolflex BDP up to concentration of 1.8 mg/L. No significant reduction in survival, reproduction and growth were detected following 21 days of exposure to the test substance. Consequently, the no mortality/ immobility concentration (NOEC) is 1.8 mg/L and the LOEC and MATC are >1.8mg/L. The 21-day EC50 was estimated to be >1.8 mg/L.
