Description of key information

There is no concern for mutagenic or genotoxic activity observed in the Ames-Test, mouse lymphoma assay, chromosome aberration study and in an in-vivo Micronucleus Test performed with the source substance partially unsaturated TEA-Esterquat. From the available sub-chronic study there are no indications of non-specific organ damage or chronic inflammation. Available data give no concern on carcinogenic properties of the target substance oleic acid-based TEA-Esterquat.
