MNBSA in Saline

Treatment of female rats with single intraperitoneal doses of 1 -1000 mg/kg of MNBSA in saline was without adverse effects and did not alter either body weight or relative resulted in the death of one animal, but did increase relative uterine weight. Each of two additional animals died after doses of 10000 mg/kg.
