Additional information

The acute toxicity to orange-red killifish (Oryzias latipes) of 4-nitrotolune-2-sulphonic acid after 96 hours of exposure was determined according to a national standard protocol JIS K 0102-1986-71: Testing methods for industrial waste water. The results showed a LC50 (96 h) of >100 mg/L. This result is supported by an investigation of the Bayer AG. After 96 h of exposure a LC0 >1000 mg/L was measured using Danio rerio as test organism.
