With both tests it was visually observed that the test substance has a boiling temperature of approximately 103 °C. No flammable vapour/air mixture was produced at temperatures below the boiling temperature of the test substance. From this, it was concluded that the test substance has no flash point.

Description of key information

No flash point

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

No flammable vapour/air mixture was produced at temperatures below the boiling temperature of Vinasses composed of approximately 65% dry matter. Since Vinasses of various subgroups are very similar in composition, it was concluded that Vinasses in form of suspension/aqueous solution and paste have no flash point.

Flash point is not a relevant property for Vinasses in solid form.
