In accordance with Column 2 of REACH Annex X, section 9.6.1, any need for avian testing should be carefully considered taking into account the large mammalian dataset that is usually available at this tonnage level. The substance is intrinsically non-toxic to mammals as concluded in Section 7 of the IUCLID technical dossier, nor is the substance considered bioaccumulative. As such, no long-term or reproductive effects on avians is expected and testing has been concluded as not required for this substance.
