Executive summary:

A study was conducted to determine the boiling point of the test substance, C16 TMAC (Purity: 95.6%) using the differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) on a Mettler DSC 1 under nitrogen atmosphere (20 mL/min), according to a method similar to OECD Guideline 103. Under the study conditions, the boiling point was determined to be 248ºC (range 235 to 248ºC) (Börjesson, 2012).

Description of key information

The boiling point of the test substance was determined using the differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) according to a method that is similar to OECD Guideline 103 (Börjesson, 2012).
