Description of key information

No effects were observed in an acute toxicity study with the submission substance on the fresh water fish Cyprinus carpio according to OECD 203.
NOEC = 100 mg/L nominal (1.4 mg/L measured)
LC50 > 100 mg/L nominal (1.4 mg/L measured)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The submission substance was tested for acute toxicity on fish in an acute toxicity test on Cyprinus carpio according to OECD 203 and EU-method C.1 (GLP-compliance). As the test item was only poorly soluble in water, a limit test with a nominal concentration of 100 mg/L (measured average exposure concentration: 1.4 mg/L) was performed. With the treatment and control neither behavioural abnormalities nor mortalities had been observed till the end of the test.

NOEC = 100 mg/L nominal (1.4 mg/L measured)

LC50 > 100 mg/L nominal (1.4 mg/L measured)
