Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

According to Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, Annex IX, No. 9.3.2., Column 2, further bioaccumulation studies need not to be conducted if the substance has a low potential for bioaccumulation.

The main components of the submission substance are of inorganic nature, are highly hydrophilic and will ultimately dissociate into ions.

The organic complex ligand humate, which comprise <1% (w/w) of the submission substance, also is highly hydrophilic, with a logPow of -2.16. As the submission substance is of high hydrophilicity, no further testing is required. In addition, according to REACH guidance R.11, a molecular weight higher than 1100 g/mol is an indicator that the aquatic BCF of the respective substance is lower than 2000 L/kg. The high molecular weight of the humate ligand (approximately 5000 g/mol) strongly indicates low bioconcentration potential.
