Description of key information

The soil sorption coefficient Koc was determined to be 517 (average of three soils). Based on these results a low to moderate mobility in soil is to be expected.

According to the data from a peer-reviewed databank, the Kd of benzophenone for red earth, Australia, is 2.71 which corresponds to a Koc of about 430. The average of three soils resulted in a Koc of 517. Based on these findings, benzophenone is expected to have moderate to low mobility in soil.
