NOAEL subchronic toxicity rat > 250 mg/kg bw/day

A 90 day study has been conducted on the substance on 1980, following OECD guideline 408. The study was conducted by gavage on 20 males and females at a fixed dose of 250 mg/kg bw/day. No Adverse Effect has been observed in all animals. This NOAEL of 250 mg/kg bw/day has been taken for calculation of DNEL

A literature study performed on Fatty Acid Methyl Esters, a component of the substance, has been reported and no toxicity effect has been seen at a dose of ca. 3500 mg/kg bw/day

Justification for classification or non-classification

No significant toxicity is seen in available studies

No classification is warrented under 67/548/EEC or Regulation 1272/2008.
