- Executive summary:
A study was conducted to determine the flammability of the test substance, according to EU Method A.10, in compliance with GLP. The test was carried out by the ignition of a line with a length of 250 mm, a width of 20 mm and a height of 10 mm with the hot flame of a gas burner. The test substance was immediately inflammable by the hot flame of a gas burner. A spread out of the combustion zone over a distance of 100 mm in 96 seconds was observed after removal of the ignition flame. Under the conditions of the study, the test substance was classified as not highly flammable (Schulze, 2007).
Reference
The test substance was immediately inflammable by the hot flame of the gas burner. A spread out of the combustion zone over a distance of 100 mm in 96 seconds was observed after removal of the ignition flame.
Description of key information
The test substance is considered to be non-flammable.
Key value for chemical safety assessment
- Flammability:
- non flammable
Additional information
The flammability was determined according to EU Method A.10 (Schulze, 2007).
