As the test substance is readily biodegradable (87% over 28 days), the hydrolysis study was waived. The DT50 in air is calculated to be 8.5 hours (AOPWIN). Two calculations based on the logKow of 5.6 have been performed with the BCFBAF programme and with the standard QSAR used in the EUSES program. The calculations showed a BCF of 2301 and 11500 L/kg ww, respectively.


The test substance does not fulfil any of the criteria to allow the conclusion "No Evidence of limited bioaccumulation" (REACH guidance R11 pg 34). However, as the substance does not fulfil the P-criterion, a bioaccumulation study in fish is waived.


McKay III modelling indicates that 92% of the test substance will end up in the water phase. The logKoc was calculated using the HPLC method as 3.316 (range: 3.312 – 3.318).
