The surface tension of an aqueous solution of the test substance at 20 °C determined by the Wilhelmy plate method lies between 68.6 - 69.8 mN/m at 1 g/L solution and between 44.6 - 49.8 mN/m at 10 g/L.

In a GLP compliant study, performed according to EC method A.5, the surface tension of the test substance was determined using the Wilhelmy plate method (Ciba-Geigy 1987). The surface tension of an aqueous solution of the test substance at 20°C lies between 68.6 - 69.8 mN/m at 1 g/L solution and between 44.6 - 49.8 mN/m at 10 g/L.
