Additional information

The toxicity of ethylene urea was investigated on Daphnia magna in a GLP study according to OECD 202 (BASF, 299A-114, 2001). No effect was observed up to the highest test concentration of 985 mg/L. Further studies confirm the low toxicity of the substance to aquatic invertebrates (BASF, 1/91/0224/50/1, 1990 and Van Leeuwen, 1985).
