Additional information

A reliable experimental study, conducted according to a recognized EC method and under GLP, is available. Despite minor restrictions regarding test substance identification, it is considered as a key study.

However, this test conducted according to Directive 67/548/EEC (DSD) classification criteria cannot be extrapolated to Regulation (EC) N°1272/2008 (CLP) criteria, as the testing strategy and study design differ significantly.

Nevertheless, according to the screening procedure described in the CLP, the structure of the substance does not contain any chemical group associated with explosive (or self-reactive) properties. Therefore, no further testing is required.

Justification for classification or non-classification

The substance is NOT classified as explosive according to DSD annex VI criteria, based on experimental results.

The substance is NOT classified as explosive, nor self-reactive, according to CLP criteria, based on the structural formula.
