Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Vapour pressure was determined at three different temperatures according to method A.4 EC 440/2008 (static method).

The apparatus which was used for vapour pressure measurements uses an electronic pressure gauge with a digital pressure indicator. The measuring range is from -50 kPa to 250 kPa with continuous measuring in this full range. The minimal resolution of the digital indicator is 0,1 kPa. The uncertainty of measurement is 1.5% of the reported value.

The measured vapour pressures were at:

20 deg.C= 0 kPa

35 deg.C=7.9 kPa

50 deg.C=19.4

The uncertainty of measurement was taken into account when using the value measured at 20 deg. C for the chemical safety assessment. Therefore, the value used as key value for safety assessment is: (measured value) + (resolution * uncertainty) = 0 + (0.1 kPa * 1.5%) = 0.0015 kPa.
