Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information
Additional information
Hydrolysis
The results of pH 7.0 and pH 9.0 showed no significant degradation of the substance at 50 °C. Even at pH 4.0 and 50 °C, the degradation of the substance was less than 10 % after 5 days. Therefore, the substance was considered to be hydrolytically stable.
Biodegradation
The substance was found to be inherently biodegradable by an average of 35 % over the 28-day exposure. A final conclusion of the biodegradability / persistence of the test substance cannot be drawn yet based on the information available. For these reasons the substance temporarily shall be assessed as "inherently biodegradable, not fulfilling specific criteria".
Adsorption / desorption
A weight of evidence approach is being applied, as the Koc of the test item was being derived via the HPLC estimation method and from a QSPR computation. The result from the HPLC method is Koc < 18, which basically was being confirmed by the result from the QSPR computation Koc = 1.2. The substance therefore is to be considered as of very high mobility.
