Results and discussion
Melting / freezing point
- Key result
- Melting / freezing pt.:
- 226.4 °C
Any other information on results incl. tables
The sample status gradually became softer when temperature up to 226.4℃ from room temperature. While melting point reached 226.4℃, the sample melted comletely.
Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Conclusions:
- The melting point of the registered substance was determined to be 226.4ºC.
- Executive summary:
-Objective
Determining the Melting Point of C16K to provide data for environmental assessment.-Test guideline
HJ/T 153-2004 "The Guidelines for the Testing of chemicals. Physical-Chemical Properties and Physical Hazards(second version". No.102
-Test conditions
The filled capillary tube was placed in the bath. At first, the heating of the bath wa adjusted to atemperature rise of 3℃ /min. the bath was stirred. At about 10℃ below the wxpected boiling temperature, the heating was reduced so that the temperature rise was less than 1℃ /min. and then observed the melting temperature.
-Results
The sample status gradually became softer when temperature up to 226.4℃ from room temperature. While melting point reached 226.4℃, the sample melted comletely.
-Conclusions
The melting point of c16K was determined to be 226.4ºC.
