Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
irritation persists, seek medical advice.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush with large amounts of lukewarm water. If irritation
persists, seek medical advice.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with soap and water and rinse thoroughly. If irritation
persists, seek medical advice.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek immediate medical advice.
Fire-fighting measures
water.
Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon and
nitrogen.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Full protective clothing and a self-contained breathing
apparatus must be worn.
Accidental release measures
Absorb spillages with a suitable inert material (eg. sand or
soil). Carefully transfer the spillage to labelled waste
containers, or use a sealed industrial vacuum machine.
Dispose of waste material in accordance with local
regulations by incineration or at a landfill site.
Clean the spillage area with detergent and water. Do not
allow washings to enter the drain.
Handling and storage
conditions of good industrial hygiene and in conformity with
any local regulations in order to avoid exposure by skin,
eye and inhalation. Ensure aqequate ventilation. Personal
protective equipment should be worn such as a respirator
(minimum standard of EN405 FFA1), chemical protective gloves
(standard prEN374), eye protection (as classified in BS2092)
and suitable clothing by standard EN368.
Storage: Store in tightly closed well ventilated containers, in cool
and dry conditions away from sources of ignition.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: 50 gallon (200 litre) drums.

Stability and reactivity
Chemical reaction with water: None reported.
Dust explosion: Not applicable.
Dust explosion determined by test: N
Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: None known.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Contaminated containers or spillages of solutions mixed with
inert material (eg. sand or soil) may be disposed of by
landfill at an authorised tip in accordance with local
regulations. (A650)
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: The substance can be disposed of by incineration. Waste gas
treatment to remove oxides of nitrogen should be fitted.
(A661)
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: The substance should not be discharged directly to the
sewage system or the aqueous environment.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The substance will not enter the public domain.
