Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. Seek medical attention if irritation
persists or feel unwell.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Immediately flush eyes with water for 15 minutes while
holding eyelids open. Seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothes and shoes. Wash thoroughly with
soap and water. Seek medical attention if irritation occurs.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Rinse mouth with water. Seek medical attention if irritation
occurs.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: water fog, alcohol foam, CO2, dry chemical
Product arising from burning: metaloxides, COx
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Normal protective equipment while fighting fires should be
used, including self-contained breathing apparatus
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Contain with dikes. Use all explosion proof equipment to
recover. Remove all sources of ignition. Soak up residual on
inert absorbant (sand). Put in steel or plastic drum.
Handling and storage
Handling: Store out of direct sunlight in well ventilated area. Keep
container closed when not in use. Use adequate ventilation.
Proper chemicals handling procedures should be adopted. Use
good personal hygiene practices.
Use respirator with organic vapor protection, chemical
splash goggles, impervious gloves and chemical resistant
apron.
Storage: Store out of direct sunlight in well ventilated area. Keep
container closed when not in use. Use adequate ventilation.
Proper chemicals handling procedures should be adopted. Use
good personal hygiene practices.
Provide ventilation to keep airborne concentrations below
exposure limits.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Coated (epoxy phenolic) steel drum or high density
polyethylene (HDPE) can.
