Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Conclusions:
- Interpretation of results (migrated information): slightly soluble (0.1-100 mg/L)
The solubility of the hydrolysis product, dimethylbenzoic acid, has been found to be 0.079 g/L at 20 °C. - Executive summary:
DMBC is unstable in water, being immediately converted to the corresponding acid. This makes it impossible to determine its water solubility.
The solubility of the hydrolysis product, dimethylbenzoic acid, has been found to be 0.079 g/L at 20 °C. The test was conducted in accordance with EEC Method A6.
